Meet our Colombian Beneficiary: FemTuSer

At Ozonya Handmade, our mission goes beyond design — we aim to empower communities and support grassroots change. That’s why we are honoured to introduce our newest beneficiary: Fundación Empodera Tú Ser (Femtuser), a Colombian organisation dedicated to healing, uplifting, and empowering women through emotional wellbeing and self-knowledge.

Their Mission

Femtuser was created to accompany women on their journey of personal growth, emotional healing, and inner strength. Their work addresses some of the most common challenges affecting women’s wellbeing, including:

• Low self-esteem

• Emotional dependence

• Gender-based violence

• Lack of opportunities

Through group therapy, experiential workshops, talks, and emotional guidance, they provide women with tools to recognise their value, build autonomy, and rebuild their lives from a place of self-awareness and self-worth.

Their programmes promote:

• Self-knowledge

• Emotional autonomy

• Confidence and resilience

• Communities of emotionally free and empowered women

With over four years of work in communities, Femtuser has already impacted more than 1,000 women through their social projects.

They also run workshops for men who have engaged in violent behaviour, creating safe spaces to deconstruct harmful beliefs and prevent gender violence at its root — a powerful, holistic approach to long-term social transformation.

Why We Chose Them

Our partnership with Femtuser was born from a shared belief in the power of women’s empowerment and emotional healing. Their work places women at the centre — helping them rebuild their confidence, transform their lives, and reconnect with their inner strength.

This aligns deeply with Ozonya Handmade’s purpose: supporting women across the world through creativity, culture, and community-driven impact.

Femtuser’s mission resonated with us as we developed our Colombian collections from Santa Marta, where we were living at that time. Therefore, we had the chance to visit their space, meet the team in person and learn how their workshops and talks are making women more confident, resilient and emotionally-free. 

How We Support Them

Current Initiatives

We donate 10% of the benefits from each Colombian collection — Colombian Flow and Colombian Soul —  directly to Femtuser.

These contributions are made yearly or until the end of each collection.
When you purchase a piece from either collection today, you are directly contributing to our next donation.
